Cash Machines

The cash machines on the College campus are provided by a
third party organisation and the College has discovered that a charge of 95p
per transaction will be made per withdrawal (following a change to the
commission structure that supplier receives from banks). This charge is
currently only on the UCBC machine and the supplier has advised this will also
be applied to the Beacon Centre (the date of this change has not been advised).
No advance notice of this was received by the College.

The College receives no income from these facilities and
will explore options to keep these costs to a minimum for the benefit of our
students and staff. Don’t forget, that you can load money onto your College ID
cards to spend in the café’s – just visit the registry desk in the Beacon
Centre to add money via cash or card (no charge will be made for this
transaction)
