Information to HE Students on Lancaster University and Pearson Qualifications only.

Do you have assessment deadlines approaching?  Exams to revise for? Feel that you need support to meet the assessment deadlines?

If you have answered yes to the above questions, then please see below support that you may be able to access to avoid non submission.

For students on courses leading to awards from University of Central Lancashire and University of Cumbria: you are subject to the rules of the relevant awarding institution.  Please contact your Programme Leader for details.

University of South Wales students please refer to your own Moodle notification.

EXTENSIONS

An extension of up to 1 term week may be granted by your Programme Leader where there are justifying circumstances.  You must request this before the submission deadline.

Extensions over 1 term week can only be authorised by Head of School.

LATE SUBMISSIONS

It is still possible to submit your assignment up to 3 days after the submission deadline, however there will be a grade penalty.

MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES

If something beyond your control prevents you from submitting your assessment on time or attending an examination, then you can apply for Mitigating circumstances which if accepted would allow you to resit without your module grade being capped.   Your application must be supported with third party evidence and submitted within 48 hours of the missed deadline/exam

Information about these process and relevant forms can be located on Academic Regulations page on Moodle.
